To support our team, we are looking for an
Product and Project Manager Export (Food Sector) 100% by arrangement
Responsibilities
- You shape our international assortment: You are responsible for planning, controlling, and further developing our export portfolio as well as related product areas.
- You think and act market-oriented: Together with our international distributors, you analyze market trends, customer needs, and competition to develop our portfolio in a targeted and practical way.
- You coordinate culinary innovations: In cooperation with product development, quality assurance, and supply chain, you ensure that our products meet the taste and requirements of the target markets.
- You accompany international market launches: From the initial idea to implementation, you manage product launches and adjustments considering country-specific requirements (e.g., IFS, HACCP) and prepare all export-relevant documents.
- You support our sales partners worldwide: You maintain contact with distributors and key accounts and are the first point of contact for all product-related concerns.
- You contribute your know-how also in the home market: You support product management for our Swiss customers with fresh ideas and professional project management.
- You measure, analyze, and optimize: You monitor sales and revenue developments and derive concrete measures for portfolio and product optimization – including project responsibility.
- You provide decision-making bases: You prepare market, competition, and performance analyses as well as clear reports for management.
- You keep an overview of the export business: You ensure compliance with all relevant export customs and food law regulations.
Requirements
What you bring – passion for enjoyment and markets
- You are passionate about good food, international cuisine, and everything related to culinary diversity – whether from the cooking profession, trade, or personal interest.
- You have a commercial education, a degree, or a gastronomic training (e.g., certified cook EFZ) with business management further education.
- Ideally, you have initial experience in product management, export, or the food environment – but motivated career changers with a willingness to learn are also welcome.
- You have a good sense for international consumer trends and an understanding of what moves markets culinarily.
- You have basic knowledge of international trade, such as export processes, declarations, or logistics – and a desire to continuously deepen your knowledge.
- You work structured, responsibly, and hands-on – teamwork is as important to you as independent work.
- You speak fluent German, confident English in spoken and written form – French skills are a plus.
- MS Office is a matter of course for you; initial contact with SAP is an advantage – not a must.
