About the Role
As a Senior Image Processing Engineer, you'll design, analyze, and implement advanced image and video processing methods for our camera products. You'll lead the development of innovative solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior engineers. Your expertise will directly impact the quality of medical imaging and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement image processing algorithms for camera systems
- Perform system modeling, signal analysis, and characterization of imaging sensors
- Design and verify FPGA-based modules using MATLAB/Simulink
- Collaborate with project teams to define IP design architecture and ensure product quality
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
- Support existing product lines and perform competitive evaluations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Signal Processing emphasis) or equivalent
- 10-12 years of experience in image processing or related field
- Strong knowledge of medical device quality system regulations and standards
- Experience with real-time algorithm development, MATLAB/Simulink, and FPGA design
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Nice to Have
- Master's or Ph.D. in Image Processing or Digital Signal Processing
- Experience with C, C++, CUDA, OpenCL, OpenGL, or OpenCV
- Familiarity with endoscopy and digital system design

- Visual acuity sufficient for testing
- Ability to sit for extended periods and lift video equipment (approx. 20 lbs.)
