As an experienced expert, you take on a key role in ensuring that regulatory and ethical standards are consistently met in the Swiss Life Switzerland division. You are the central contact person for compliance issues and advise and support in the areas of Conduct, Regulatory Affairs, and Assurance. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the following tasks, among others:
Your area of responsibility
- You interpret legal and regulatory requirements for a life insurer, develop practical recommendations for action, and accompany their implementation – in close coordination with the Group's legal department.
- You independently review and handle conflicts of interest as well as secondary employment.
- You conduct internal investigations and professionally support whistleblowing cases.
- You actively participate in internal and external audits and support the preparation of communication with supervisory authorities.
- You advise and support the business units in implementing and maintaining compliance requirements.
- You continuously shape and develop the directive system of the Switzerland division.
- You prepare internal and external reports and contribute to their quality assurance.
- You design and conduct training and workshops for employees to convey compliance topics clearly and practically.
Your strengths
- You have successfully completed a master's degree in law at a Swiss university.
- You have at least ten years of relevant professional experience – ideally in the legal area of the life insurance, pension fund, or property insurance industry.
- You have sound knowledge of insurance supervisory law as well as regulatory requirements in the financial services sector.
- You are experienced and confident in handling complex compliance issues and internal investigations.
- Your analytical skills are pronounced, combined with high integrity and strong communication skills.
- You not only have very good IT skills but also actively shape the digital development of your work processes.
- You have fluent German skills and very good English skills; additional national languages are a plus.
