Our laboratory based in Plan-les-Ouates is a world leading group in chemical and biochemical analysis specialized in high-end GMP contract analytical services in Mass Spectrometry, Chromatography and Biophysical techniques. Weprovideanalytical services in Health Sciences, including structural analysis of biologics (proteins, glycoproteins and carbohydrates), their quantification and various chemical studies.

Job Description

  • Design and conduct quantitative analytical studies by liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry in the field of biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical products.
  • Responsible of all the scientific and quality documentation for entrusted projects.
  • Design, develop and validate analytical methods according to guidelines.
  • Support/supervise sample preparation and analysis according to defined instructions (study plan, SOPs,...).
  • Prepare and /or review Study Plan, Report or Certificate of Analysis to provide quality service document to Client expectations.
  • Organise the daily/weekly work of Analysts. Support/supervise Analysts on all their responsibilities.
  • Ensure monitoring of science and technology mainly in the field of protein/peptide characterization by mass spectrometry.
  • Consult with Client regarding on-going work, report content to develop our relationship with our Client.

Qualifications

  • Msc/PhD diploma or equivalent in a science discipline (e.g. analytical chemistry, biochemistry).
  • Expertise in protein/peptide analysis using liquid chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry.
  • Relevant experience in absolute quantification of small and large molecules by LC-MS based methods .
  • Good knowledge of the analytical softwares Empower, Masslynx, Chromeleon, Labsolutions will be an advantage.
  • Fluent in spoken and written French and English.
  • Experience in working in a GMP contract service lab would be appreciated.
  • Able to work in regulatory (GxP) environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and other SGS laboratories.
  • Ability to understand customer needs.
  • Experienced working as part of a team contributing positively to shared objectives.
  • Able to work independently and coordinate complex activities simultaneously.

Additional Information

  • This is a full-time position and will be based in Plan-Les-Ouates.
