Operational Purchasing Manager 80 – 100 % (m/f/d)

The Business Unit Operations produces parts for all Hamilton companies, from injection-molded parts to pipette tips for liquid handling to metal and plastic parts. Our goal is to produce as many parts in-house as possible. This keeps us agile, independent, and efficient.
What you can achieve:
Secure supply and cost-optimized inventory planning of the assigned product groups
Order processing with the ERP system for new and existing items
Verification of order confirmations
Delivery date assurance / delivery date reminders
Processing of error messages
Processing and implementation of ECO (engineering change orders)
Recording and monitoring of quantity contracts
Maintenance of item master data in the ERP
Obtaining and evaluating offers in consultation with the Strategic Procurement Manager
Participation in optimization projects in procurement
Participation in supplier evaluation
Checking and approving supplier invoices
Compliance with processes, governance, and compliance
What you bring with you:
Completed commercial basic training or technical training with commercial further education
Further training as a purchasing specialist or in supply chain management
Experience in operational purchasing in an industrial environment
Reliable personality with an entrepreneurial mindset
Independent, structured, and conscientious working style
Initiative, negotiation skills, and assertiveness
Open, communicative, and honest person
Team player
Very good ERP and Office skills
Fluent in German and English, spoken and written
