At Implenia Timber Construction, everything is currently geared towards growth – not only because of our sustainable and naturally renewable building materials. In Zug, for example, we will soon create the (with over 80 meters) tallest timber high-rise in Switzerland – and in the Lokstadt Winterthur we are currently building the largest timber construction residential projects in the country.

Responsibilities

• Leading the project resources assigned to him/her and monitoring their efficient use
• Developing solution proposals and assisting with concepts for the construction manager
• Supporting the development of detailed solutions and representation in CAD
• Supervising subcontractors on the construction site
• Ordering materials in coordination with the construction manager
• Reporting deviations to the construction manager
• Ensuring professional execution of work on the construction site
• Ensuring task-related work preparation
• Proactive coordination with internal and external parties
• Participating in construction meetings in consultation with the construction manager
• Creating time reports
• Creating measurements
• Ensuring implementation of safety regulations and rules
• Implementing environmental protection requirements
• Creating daily, weekly, and monthly reports

Requirements

• Completed training as a carpenter with EFZ, foreman or forewoman, or foreman training
• Several years of professional experience as a carpenter, foreman, or forewoman
• Experience in the execution of timber construction projects
• Experience in dealing with clients
• Knowledge of CAD planning
• Good communication skills
• Entrepreneurial thinking
• Leadership experience
