Portfolio Manager for the Education Sector 80 - 100%
The Canton of Zurich is growing. It holds one of the largest real estate portfolios of the public sector in Switzerland. The Real Estate Office manages this as the owner representative, ensures value preservation, unlocks development potentials, and creates long-term scope for action. For the educational buildings of secondary, vocational, and universities of applied sciences, we develop strategies and concepts for maintenance as well as for new buildings together with our partners. To complement our team, we are looking for you as a Portfolio Manager for the Education Sector.
Your main tasks:
- Conceptualization and support of overarching planning to ensure value preservation throughout the entire lifecycle of the properties
- Definition of property strategies for existing properties
- Owner representation for construction projects in collaboration with the Building Department
- Coordination of rental projects with internal and external stakeholders
Your profile:
- You have several years of experience in the real estate sector as well as a construction-technical education and ideally further training in real estate economics
- You have strong conceptual as well as analytical-structuring skills
- Your interest lies in the diverse tasks at the interface of the real estate industry and politics
- You are proactive and have strong communication and teamwork skills
