"Creating knowledge – shaping the future": With this goal, we work daily on the continuous development of our practice-oriented, scientifically based, and internationally networked study programs. As a result, our education sector has grown significantly in recent years. Today, we are distinguished by a broad portfolio of Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs that combine our competencies in the fields of business, psychology, and data.
To continue being successful, we are strengthening the leadership team of the education sector and establishing a co-leadership.

The joint tasks include:

• The content-related, personnel, and financial management of the education sector of Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts – Business,
• The development and implementation of the education strategy in collaboration with the institutes and education committees,
• Ensuring a qualitatively and organizationally flawless education operation,
• The conception and management of development projects for new study programs and innovative teaching/learning formats,
• Product-related communication and product marketing in cooperation with the relevant internal specialist departments,
• Collaboration with student organizations,
• Participation in regional and national committees as well as maintaining contacts with politics, associations, companies, and media,
• The establishment and maintenance of cooperations with other universities and further educational institutions at home and abroad, and
• Participation in the overall development of Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts – Business as a member of the department management.

The division of tasks within the co-leadership team will be determined jointly.
Convinced that university and science management gains depth through its own teaching, research, or consulting activities, this also belongs to the portfolio of the sought co-leader in the scope of about 30%.

• You have a university degree with a doctorate as well as leadership experience, ideally from the university sector. You have also gained professional experience outside of universities.
• Your professional passion lies in one of our teaching and research areas, and this enthusiasm is reflected in corresponding achievements. You are also characterized by a high level of professionalism in strategic, conceptual, and entrepreneurial thinking and acting.
• You have the ability to approach complex challenges in a solution-oriented manner, possess excellent social and communication skills, and work in a team-oriented way.
• Integrity and a strong commitment complete your profile.
