Senior Physician / Chief Physician for Psychosomatic Rehabilitation 80-100%
Task:
As senior physician, you develop and implement strategies for the care of patients in your area in collaboration with the senior physicians of the musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation departments and the nursing and therapy management. Supervision and responsibility for the care of patients in your area from admission to discharge from the clinic, relying on specialized and experienced teams. Development of a concept for interdisciplinary collaboration within the clinic as well as with partners. Expansion of partnerships with hospitals and referring physicians. Supervision of assistant and senior physicians. Participation in medical on-call duty (standby) about 1 week per month. Active contribution to the training of students and assistant physicians in psychosomatic fields. Opportunity to develop assignments together with the psychology team. Specialist consultation and joint care of patients throughout the clinic. Opportunity to establish an outpatient clinic.
Requirements:
Swiss medical diploma or equivalent degree. FMH specialist title in psychiatry or internal medicine with a focus on psychosomatic medicine (ASMPP) or in physical medicine and rehabilitation with a focus on psychosomatic medicine (ASMPP). Several years of clinical experience in this field. Team spirit, interest in interdisciplinary work, good communication skills, independence. Good oral and written knowledge of German and French or willingness to acquire the necessary skills.
