By merging the two focuses of coronary and structural cardiology, we are further developing the clinic under unified leadership. We are looking to strengthen our team from 1 April 2027 or by arrangement.

Your area of responsibility

• You bear the overall medical, personnel, organisational and economic responsibility for cardiology, unite the previous focuses with clear responsibilities, decision-making paths and a shared leadership culture, and strategically develop the entire range of services with innovation and new technologies
• Leadership of senior physicians, focus area leaders as well as senior and assistant physicians; active involvement of focus area leaders in the further development of the clinic
• Personal clinical and interventional activity in your own focus area, inpatient and outpatient, as well as interprofessional collaboration with nursing, catheter laboratory and functional diagnostics, and maintaining relationships with internal and external referrers
• Promotion of clinical research and university teaching as well as responsibility for further education and training

Your experience

• Specialist title in cardiology with proven expertise and specialisation in a focus area
• Habilitation and proven scientific profile with experience in research, innovation or quality projects as well as networking in national and international cardiological professional circles
• MBA or comparable management training advantageous; proven experience in change management and ability to motivate highly specialised teams for common goals and consistently implement necessary decisions
• Clear, decisive and appreciative leadership as well as promotion of an open learning and feedback culture
