DevOps Engineer (80 - 100% - all identities and backgrounds)
Your main tasks are
- Lead our observability platform with creativity and responsibility, ensuring quality and timely outcomes.
- Shape, operate and scale our Kubernetes clusters.
- Act as a driver for innovation in cloud technologies and observability solutions
- Guide the migration of legacy services into cloud-native deployments.
- Share knowledge openly and mentor colleagues to foster continuous growth.
- Collaborate with application teams and research & education communities to understand their needs and deliver solutions that matter.
What you bring
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes and GitOps principles.
- Advanced Linux/Unix administration skills.
- Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Thanos, Loki, Grafana).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, Ruby, etc.) and scripting (Python, Bash).
- A proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and drive projects forward.
- Experience designing and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Creative thinking about the future of cloud technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Fluency in English is essential, while German or French is a welcome plus. And if you’ve explored networking, OpenStack, Ansible, or hold a CKAD certificate, we’ll be especially excited to hear your story.
