You lead our housekeeping team, which sticks together and supports each other even in hectic moments. Together, you ensure that our guests feel at home with us. As a Housekeeping Team Leader, you are responsible for organizing and coordinating the daily operations, but you also pitch in yourself – whether it’s carefully cleaning the hotel rooms, the public areas, or the laundry. With your eye for detail and your warm manner, you prepare our rooms so that our guests feel welcome from the very first moment.

Our hotel and restaurant is located in Schwende, only 8 minutes by car from the center of Appenzell, on a slightly elevated vantage point with a breathtaking view of the Alpstein. With 20 cozy hotel rooms, we are the ideal starting point for sporting activities and relaxing days in the mountains.
We are a year-round operation, with our main season from April to the end of October. For over 30 years, we have combined experience with the energy of our young, dynamic team – a recipe for success that continually delights our numerous regular guests. Our friendly, family-like atmosphere is appreciated not only by our guests but also by our employees. Together, we pull in the same direction to enable our guests unforgettable stays.
Your tasks:
- Leading and scheduling the housekeeping team (up to 3 people in the summer season)
- Ensuring cleanliness and order in the hotel rooms and public areas
- Participating in the operational daily business (room cleaning and laundry)
- Checking cleaning quality and compliance with hygiene standards
- Ordering and controlling materials and supplies
- Close cooperation with management
