Metal construction practitioners manufacture various components in the workshop and process them in partial tasks. For this, they master the basic metalworking techniques; they use bending, punching, clinching, drilling, and sawing machines, hand tools, and welding equipment.
Completed primary school. Technical understanding, manual skills, good constitution, good at math, enjoyment of metallic material, agility, no allergies to metals.
2 years of vocational basic training. 1 day per week is vocational school. Inter-company courses on various topics complement the training. Qualification: Federal Vocational Certificate.
Vocational basic training as a metalworker EFZ (entry into the 2nd year of training).
