Attached to the Department of Medicine , the gastroenterology service manages outpatient and hospitalized patients on its technical platform for diagnostic and interventional endoscopy examinations in gastroenterology and pulmonology.
Job Description
You welcome and care for outpatient and hospitalized patients for endoscopic examinations and liver biopsy punctures, during the pre-, peri-, and post-examination phases.
You prepare the examination rooms with their specific equipment.
You work closely with the medical team.
You provide instrumentation assistance to doctors, perform and monitor sedation and pain management.
You participate in the reprocessing of endoscopes.
You manage patient flow on the platform and in the monitoring room, demonstrating autonomy, responsiveness, and a keen sense of priorities.
You perform on-call shifts to provide 24/7 patient care.
Qualifications
You hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or an equivalent recognized qualification by the Swiss Red Cross.
You have at least two years of confirmed experience in acute care, and experience in endoscopy is a real asset.
Endowed with a strong sense of autonomy, you demonstrate great adaptability, anticipation, and stress management skills, as well as excellent organization of priorities and great tact towards patients. You also show strong interpersonal skills, combined with a high capacity for listening and empathy.
You show a marked interest in instrumentation. Performing examinations under scope involves wearing a lead apron for several hours.

You will work day, night, and weekend shifts according to the service needs.
