About the job

• Maintain, clean, and inspect wastewater structures such as pumping stations, stormwater basins, and sewer shafts 
• Perform repairs and assembly work on technical systems and equipment
• Troubleshoot and support third-party companies during on-site work
• Provide on-call service and work outside regular hours
• Plan and organize small maintenance tasks 

• Craft or technical apprenticeship EFZ (e.g., mason, plumber, landscaper)
• Work experience in construction, industry, or sewer maintenance is an advantage
• Interest in structures, technology, and mechanical systems as well as enjoyment in keeping systems operational and taking responsibility for the infrastructure of the city of Bern
• Driver's license category C1 is an advantage or willingness to obtain it
• Physically resilient and ready for deployment - including work outdoors
