Job Description

• Gather, analyze, and formalize business needs to translate them into technical specifications usable by development teams.
• Explore and understand the existing systems (Cobol, RPG, Java/Spring Boot applications, REST APIs, integration flows) to propose solutions.
• Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional test cases within an agile framework.
• Collaborate with architects to define inter-application integration points and ensure overall solution coherence.
• Participate in agile ceremonies (daily, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
• Keep functional and technical documentation up to date (API contracts, data mappings, business models).
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of analysis and delivery practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a technical or software development context.
• Good understanding of IBMi environments and Cobol applications; knowledge of Java / Spring Boot is a real asset.
• Mastery of REST API concepts,
• Ability to read and interpret code, architecture diagrams, or technical documentation.
• Comfortable writing user stories and test cases under Agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban).
• Good analytical skills, autonomy, and attention to detail.
• Fluent in French and English.
