Account and Relationship Manager - Global Custody and Private Label Funds Clients (80-100%)
As part of a small, dynamic, and client-oriented team, you are responsible for the comprehensive support of strategically important institutional clients in the German-speaking part of Switzerland.
Job Description:
Comprehensive support of Global Custody and Private Label Funds clients (including troubleshooting) in the following areas: custodian bank services, fund accounting, transfer agent activities, bank infrastructure services, business process outsourcing, etc.
Interface between clients and various internal departments in Zurich, Geneva, and Luxembourg (fund management, fund accounting, securities operations, IT, legal, tax, etc.) as well as third parties (asset managers, auditors, consultants, etc.)
Independent management of diverse client projects and business analyst tasks (e.g., launch of investment funds, quotation for new products, service reviews, technical implementation of regulatory requirements, analysis of client needs, etc.).
Independent preparation and follow-up of client meetings (steering committee, operational meetings, etc.) and leadership/participation in meetings
Drafting and maintenance of contracts and SLAs with clients
Preparation of client and fee invoices and execution of fee checks
Opening and maintenance of client and account relationships (ensuring correct documentation, updating account documents and contracts according to internal bank guidelines, etc.)
Support in executing various operational activities such as cash management, payment transactions, settlement and monitoring of internally and externally traded FX as well as options and futures transactions. Coordination and booking of transactions of non-custodied assets such as private equity, infrastructure investments, real estate, etc.
Assistance in the preparation and quality control of monthly and quarterly client-specific investment reports (especially fund factsheets) for traditional and alternative investments
Requirements:
Bank apprenticeship with vocational baccalaureate and completed further education (banking specialist HF, CFA/AZEK) or university degree
At least five years of professional experience in the financial sector, ideally in servicing institutional clients
Broad expertise in asset servicing (e.g., securities, stock exchange, back & middle office, investment advisory). Experience in contact with external asset managers and/or global custody/fund clients is an advantage.
Interest in the fund business, operational processes, and investment topics, combined with enjoyment of numbers and regular contact with internal and external parties
Very good MS Office user skills
Client- and needs-oriented, high quality awareness, precise and independent working style
Team player, committed and communicative personality with high social competence and flexibility
German as mother tongue as well as very good English skills in spoken and written form. French is a great advantage.
