On behalf of our client, a company from communal catering in Lucerne, we are looking for an experienced and motivated individual as of January 2027 for the position of:
Cook 80%Job Description- Preparation and production of dishes mainly in the cold kitchen and patisserie. Depending on workload, assisting in the hot kitchen. Up to 300 guests are catered for at lunchtime.
- Independent management of the station
- Preparation of refreshments in the meeting rooms, aperitifs and catering
- Assisting with plating at the menu station and meal distribution directly to guests
- Efficient and precise work is expected
- Responsible for cleanliness and order in the kitchen
- Supporting the kitchen team with inventory and assisting with orders
- Completed EFZ training as a cook and experience in managing your own station
- Mandatory experience in a large operation, communal catering
- Very good German skills (fluent) and English, as there is constant guest contact
- Resilient, independent and flexible personality as a team player
- Accurate and efficient working style, service-oriented manner
