About the job
What you can achieve
- Creating and maintaining material master data in the ERP system according to defined standards and guidelines
- Creating and maintaining DVS documents (TDS, MSDS...)
- Processing various workflows or supporting them
- Initiating and collaborating on evaluations of alternative and successor materials as well as cleaning up duplicate and multiple numbering
- Participating in the configuration management process (KOFIMA)
- Supporting data stewards in the area of material master data
- Interface between system owner, system manager, and internal and external customers
- Supporting area-specific project services
- Monitoring and correcting interfaces (e.g., i-Doc, ALE, etc.)
What you bring with you
- Completed vocational training in mechanics or electrical engineering
- Basic experience in master data management, ideally with at least two years of experience
- Knowledge in process modeling, data rules, data workflow & data quality management is an advantage
- Experience with SAP R/3 and/or S4 Hana
- Good coordination and communication skills (online and offline) to maintain relationships with other specialists
- High quality awareness, service orientation, reliability, and assertiveness
- Native German speaker with good English skills
