For its Infrastructure and Mobility Service, the Municipality of Mont-sur-Lausanne is offering a position of:

Junior Civil Engineering Technician 80% to 100%

Purpose of the position:

• Ensure the processing of files related to the municipal water sanitation network and urban infrastructures.

Main tasks:

• Collaborate in the implementation, management, and supervision of civil engineering works related to the water drainage network projects and urban infrastructure network within the municipal territory;
• Participate in planning and monitor the control of water drainage from private properties related to building permits for private properties;
• Participate in site start-up meetings and monitor the compliance of private properties;
• Collaborate in the preparation of plans and write compliance reports for private properties;
• Participate in updating the municipal database;
• Collaborate in conducting field surveys;
• Provide necessary information to the various site stakeholders.

Your profile:

• Diploma as an ES technician in civil engineering or recognized equivalent;
• One or two years of experience would be a plus;
• Good knowledge of legal bases and technical standards in the field of water protection and drainage, sanitation, and environment;
• Knowledge in the use of software such as Autocad as well as in the field of GIS/SIT;
• Proficiency in common computer tools;
• Holder of a category B driving license;
• Good writing and spelling skills, ability to write technical letters is an asset.
