About the job
Activities- Responsible for and ensuring the basic medical care of asylum seekers in the center, taking into account existing guidelines (BEKO, SEM manual - access to medical care for AS and procedures in BAZ, guideline for handling remedies, BAG manual outbreak management and ORS processes)
- Leading and organizing an effective triage according to urgency and severity and subsequent coordination with medical organizations (emergency, rescue organizations, doctors, dentists)
- Performing initial medical care in emergencies, nursing measures, and medically prescribed measures
- Organizing, advising, and partially personally conducting regular training for non-medical caregivers/center management in the area of basic medical care/procedures in emergencies and prevention
- Ensuring contacts and information flow to doctors, counseling centers, and other professionals
- Ensuring the daily consultation hours
- Responsible for the care and management of medical records
Requirements
- Tertiary education: Federal professional examination (Federal FA) or equivalent (e.g., HF diploma)
- Dipl. Nursing Specialist HF / FH
- 0 to 1 year relevant professional experience
- Teamwork skills, high social competence, and sense of responsibility
- Calmness in dealing with difficult situations and openness to different cultures
- Organizational talent and planning skills
- Basic and user knowledge of MS Office applications
- Impeccable reputation (no entries in debt enforcement and criminal records)
- German | spoken: C1 | written: C1
- French | spoken: B1 | written: B1 (advantageous)
