Your tasks

Leadership & Collaboration

You lead and develop the social counseling team professionally and appreciatively.

You coach employees in complex counseling situations and promote an open team culture.

You are responsible for recruitment, onboarding, and employee discussions.

You strengthen interprofessional collaboration within the institution – together with nursing, medicine, and therapy.

Content Development

You actively shape the strategic direction of social counseling.

You participate in projects, expert committees, and working groups – internally and externally.

You keep our service and process descriptions up to date and advance quality standards.

You maintain relationships with important partners such as KESB, ABES, Curaviva, or Spitex and continue to expand networks.

Practice & Customer Orientation

You take responsibility in complaint management and participate in internal audits.

You advise patients and relatives personally if needed – according to the department's guidelines.

You take over case management on all wards as needed.

Your profile

Professional

Bachelor in social work or an equivalent qualification

Leadership training or management further education

Experience in quality, process, or project management

Solid professional experience in social services, ideally in a clinical or geriatric setting

Interest in social-political developments and the cantonal care system

Solid knowledge in adult protection or willingness to acquire such knowledge

Personal

You communicate clearly, confidently, and empathetically.

You act solution-oriented, reliably, and with a focus on the essentials.

You bring social competence, self-reflection, and assertiveness.

You remain calm, focused, and flexible even in demanding situations.
