Student Assistant / Laboratory Assistant 80-100% (m/f/d)
The central laboratory, which offers a wide range of analytical-chemical methods and provides precise data for the research units, is looking for a 6-month position
In this role, you will significantly contribute to ensuring a reliable and high-quality laboratory operation in the WSL central laboratory. You support the research units through precise analyses of soil, plant, and water samples, thereby making an important contribution to the quality and reproducibility of scientific results. Your tasks include the preparation and execution of ammonium measurements according to work instructions, evaluation of measurement data with Excel, and careful documentation according to ISO 17025. Furthermore, you support the team in daily business and assist with organizational and administrative tasks. The position is limited to 6 months and is aimed at individuals who want to gain practical work experience in the laboratory of a research institute.
You have recently completed or are about to complete a bachelor's or master's degree in chemistry or a related field and want to gain practical laboratory experience. You work carefully, reliably, and in a structured manner and have basic knowledge of Excel and common MS Office applications. Technical understanding, willingness to learn measurement procedures, as well as teamwork skills and a sense of responsibility complete your profile.
