Your tasks:
At the FHNW Campus Muttenz, you are responsible in the Building Technology & Infrastructure department for the continuously smooth operation of the technical systems as well as for efficient and reliable operational processes in the infrastructure. In addition, this versatile position includes the following tasks:
- Independent organization of work in the infrastructure area
- Preparation, setup and control of seminar rooms including adjustments of furniture and seating as well as support in event preparations
- Planning, coordination and supervision of maintenance, repairs and system optimizations including cost responsibility for all systems in the area of responsibility
- Independent planning and execution of cross-system inspections, tests and maintenance on building, safety, catering and special systems according to applicable guidelines
- Conducting primary fault analyses as well as detecting, remedying or coordinating faults, damages or hazardous conditions including management of external service providers
- Independent planning, maintenance and documentation of all relevant technical data in the CAFM system
- Execution of maintenance and revisions on infrastructural systems
Your profile:
You are an open-minded, resilient and responsible personality with an independent and structured way of working. You are enthusiastic about technical issues and enjoy working with different stakeholders. You have completed training as a specialist in operational maintenance EFZ and bring solid experience in handling building technology systems. Thanks to your expertise and practical thinking, you are able to safely and reliably manage the complex technical systems of a campus. Furthermore, we expect:
- Basic knowledge in building services (sanitary, heating, cooling systems and ventilation) as well as several years of experience in building and infrastructure technology
- Willingness to confidently master even challenging situations, combined with manual skills and interconnected thinking
- High sense of responsibility as well as an independent, structured working style and pronounced team player mentality
- Flexibility and willingness for periodic additional deployments as well as to take on on-call duty in the technical area
- Experience in apprentice training or motivation to actively support trainees
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form as well as independent handling of administrative tasks
- Confident PC skills and solid knowledge of common Office programs
- Clear written and oral communication with suppliers and external partners
