Community Health and Care Assistant (ASSC) M/F 80%-100%
The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is an inter-cantonal reference hospital, bringing together more than 2,000 employees. The Rennaz Hospital Center has more than 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Clinics as well as two medical on-call services. Its geriatrics and rehabilitation service offers its services on 3 sites, namely:
- The Riviera Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Clinic in Vevey (Providence site)
- The Chablais Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Clinic in Monthey
- The Rennaz site.
The CGRs' mission is mainly geriatric rehabilitation, as well as acute care for seniors. In Rennaz, these are hospital geriatric consultations (CGH).
A close collaboration with the HRC allows our patients to benefit from its technical platform and state-of-the-art equipment.
Under the supervision of a medical-nursing pair, you will work in close partnership with the patient and their relatives, while emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration.
The main tasks of this position are
- Organize, perform, monitor, and document care services and medico-technical acts delegated by the nurse and authorized by the ASSC status, in stable situations with no emergency character
- Collaborate in the smooth running of the service's activities
- Promote the interdisciplinary approach to care and teamwork specific to the service's mission
- Promote, by delegation, the involvement of the patient in their care plan as well as that of their relatives
We require
- A Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a Community Health and Care Assistant
- A motivated person to care for seniors according to best practices in Geriatrics and Rehabilitation
- A rigorous, organized, and dynamic person with excellent communication skills
- An interest in working in an interdisciplinary team
- Adaptability to change and commitment to the service's project
- Proficiency in French and hospital-specific IT tools
