Your tasks
- You review customer applications for installment payments taking into account internal guidelines.
- You analyze and assess the collection potential based on profit-oriented targets for provisionally written-off receivables and initiate appropriate measures.
- You are responsible for initiating the dunning and debt enforcement process.
- You manage tax credits and are responsible for complex collection tasks (e.g., secured claims by mortgage, (extra) judicial restructuring plans, security orders/arrest warrants, etc.).
- You maintain contact with other tax departments and service units of the City of Lucerne as well as with external authorities (debt enforcement office, bankruptcy office, courts, tax representation) to fulfill your tasks.
Your profile
- You have completed a higher professional examination and have several years of professional experience, preferably in the tax sector, or you are willing to train and further educate yourself in the tax sector.
- You have several years of experience in debt collection and are interested in tasks regulated by federal, cantonal, and municipal law.
- You are a service-oriented, committed, and decisive personality.
- Your strong teamwork skills and negotiation confidence complete your profile.
- You can express yourself clearly, correctly, and understandably in German, both in writing and orally.
