Medical Office Assistant

Profile

Medical office assistants are the medical staff's collaborators. They independently handle certain administrative tasks, diagnostic techniques, and, under medical direction, also therapeutic tasks. Their field of activity includes work in the medical office, office, laboratory, and radiology.

At the Lugano Regional Hospital, the position of medical office assistant can be performed either within a medical secretariat or within the nursing service.

Required qualifications

• Federal certificate of capacity as a medical office assistant
• Good knowledge of the Italian language, spoken and written

Desired qualifications

• Knowledge of another national language (German or French)
