How you create impact
- Operational responsibility for coordinating and handling sea freight shipments, including organizing pre? and on?carriage as well as port operations
- Communication with shipping lines and service providers regarding release, booking, and processing of imports and exports
- Preparation and management of transport documents and transparent documentation of customer-specific requirements
- Monitoring and optimizing transport processes regarding efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and data quality
- Processing orders and clarifying discrepancies in close coordination with internal departments and partners
- Monitoring shipments, ensuring the fulfillment of customer KPIs, and maintaining relevant business relationships
What we would like you to bring
- Completed training in freight forwarding and logistics or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience in sea freight
- Confident use of MS Office and openness to new technologies
- Strong organizational skills, communication abilities, and solution?oriented thinking
- Fluent English skills, spoken and written
- Fluency in one Swiss national language (German, French, or Italian)
