Teacher HKB A-D, Business 50 - 60%The cantonal vocational school Bülach is the competence center for business and technology in the Zurich Airport region of the Zurich lowlands. We teach around 1,300 learners in commercial and technical professions. The straightforward and pleasant cooperation between teachers, administration, and training companies is a special feature of our school.
In the Business department, we train learners according to the new education ordinance (BIVO 2023) as well as vocational baccalaureate students of BM1 for professional life and the final apprenticeship examination.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a teacher for the competence areas A, B, C, and D as well as the subject Financial and Accounting (FRW) of the vocational baccalaureate classes starting from the spring semester on February 16, 2026. We are looking for a teacher who complements our team of experienced teachers with impulses from the recently completed training as a secondary school and vocational school teacher and who wants to continue developing.
Your tasks
You will teach three parallel classes in the second year in the subject area HKB-A/B/C/D Business and accompany one class during the lesson of self-organized learning. The total workload is 13 weekly lessons on Mondays and Tuesdays. You design your lessons according to the requirements of BIVO 2023 in a competence-oriented manner. Your work includes supporting learners with portfolio work according to BIVO 2023 and conducting coaching discussions with learners. During the qualification procedure, you take on supervision duties and correct the final exams together with the subject team.
Your profile
You have a university master's degree in economics or law. Alternatively, you can demonstrate completed training as a secondary school teacher in the corresponding subject area with BM qualification or an equivalent qualification or are about to complete it. In addition, you have teaching experience at the secondary level II. Furthermore, you bring some experience from the private sector and show flexibility and initiative. Openness, teamwork, and strong communication skills complete your profile.
