The Electricity Distribution Management builds, maintains, and operates the electrical distribution network. Through the development of innovative offers, it ensures technological mastery of projects such as the implementation of the smart grid or public lighting.
Mission:
- Develop and update master plans for HV, MV, and LV networks based on load and production changes, including analyses and simulations to propose concrete measures.
- Manage the HV, MV, and LV project portfolio: prioritization with Operations, budget and deadline monitoring, drafting study mandates, and participating in steering committees.
- Plan investments for the development and renewal of networks and contribute to the establishment of annual budgets.
- Propose technical solutions for the deployment of smart grids and define necessary reinforcements related to new uses (IPE, electric mobility, etc.) through electrical network simulations and in coordination with Operations.
- Define and keep planning directives up to date, ensure the quality and availability of technical data, and participate in the continuous improvement of the Electricity Distribution Management processes.
Profile:
- Engineer degree HES/EPFL in electrical engineering, energy field, or equivalent training.
- Ideally at least 3 years of experience in distribution networks, with proven project management practice.
- Excellent mastery of technical concepts (network calculations, voltage drops, power, DC current, impedances, etc.).
- Strong skills in basic IT, management tools, and Business Intelligence (BI). Knowledge of programming languages in the Data Science field (e.g., Python) is a plus.
- Initiative spirit, autonomy in decision-making, planning skills, analytical and synthesis capacity, ease in contacts.
- Complete professional command of the French language; good knowledge of German is an asset.
