What you can achieve with us:
- Ensuring efficient, high-quality, and customer-oriented delivery of customer orders
- Leadership and development of the directly subordinate team leaders Delivery Central, East & West and their teams, regular employee discussions
- Leadership and development of the directly subordinate dispatch team
- Responsibility for compliance with and optimization of route plans, delivery quality, and costs
- Promotion of sustainable, ecologically and economically sensible use of resources (vehicles, personnel, tools)
- Implementation of quality standards, analysis of complaints, and derivation of improvement measures
- Close cooperation with transport partners and internal interfaces (warehouse, sales, finance, customer service)
- Introduction and coaching of new employees from all company areas
- Leadership and participation in local and group-wide projects
Your qualities and achievements:
- Basic training in a logistics-related field (e.g., logistics specialist EFZ, road transport specialist or transport and logistics dispatcher) ideally with further training as a transport and logistics operations manager with a federal certificate, supply chain manager with a federal diploma, certified business economist HF
- Several years of experience in a leadership position in the field of parcel transport logistics
- Knowledge in route planning, distribution, and performance management
- Solid IT user skills (SAP, MS Office, etc.)
- Strong leadership and communication skills as well as a high sense of responsibility and quality awareness
- Ability to recognize problems and find solutions
- The corporate language is English; knowledge of French is also ideal
