About the job
The Office for Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy of the Canton of Thurgau, with its five district debt enforcement offices and the bankruptcy office, is a central service provider within the Cantonal Administration of Thurgau.
The office employs around 100 staff, apprentices, and interns in the two specialist areas. To complement the Bankruptcy Department, we are looking for a legal intern from January 1, 2026 or by arrangement
Your tasks
- Independent preparation of criminal complaints
- Handling of simple bankruptcy cases
- Conducting legal clarifications and in-depth research
- Supporting the department head and the bankruptcy administrators in complex cases
- Taking on assistant tasks for the department head in all administrative and organizational matters
Your profile
- You already have expertise in legal sciences
- Good legal knowledge of the Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy Act (SchKG), Civil Code (ZGB), Code of Obligations (OR), and Civil Procedure Code (ZPO)
- Very good IT user skills (MS Office, Excel, Visio, Web, etc.)
- Service- and solution-oriented personality
- Very good communication skills as well as fluency in written and spoken expression are required
- You work precisely, independently, and well-structured, are a team player, and keep a cool head even in hectic situations
- Interesting and varied internship position within the Cantonal Administration
