The Haute École Arc Ingénierie is offering a position for an HES Scientific Collaborator 80% (4-year fixed-term contract) in the competency group "Medical Devices" Mission
Within a multidisciplinary project aimed at accelerating innovation in precision oncology, you will bridge engineering and medicine by developing advanced fluid processing solutions (e.g., microfluidics, automation/robotics) for the generation of organoids and surface functionalization. You will also ensure scientific and operational coordination with academic and industrial partners, and contribute to project management. Main Responsibilities

- PhD in Life Sciences with knowledge in engineering (e.g., automation, microfluidics) or PhD in Biomedical Engineering with expertise in cell culture (ideally 3D), or similar.

- Design, automate, and validate biological fluid preparation/processing pipelines (liquid handling robotics, microfluidics, quality control, traceability ELN/SOPs).
- Develop, optimize, and standardize automated protocols for organoid generation and maintenance (pipetting stations, collaborative robots, microfluidic controllers).
- Develop surface functionalization processes (coupling chemistries, biomolecular immobilization) compatible with microphysiological platforms.
- Ensure technical liaison and communication with academic and industrial partners; organize meetings, monitor deliverables and milestones.
- Contribute to project management: planning (Gantt), risk monitoring, budget, and technical/administrative reporting.
- Participate in dissemination (reports, presentations, publications) and transfer (IP/patents, interactions
