About the job
Our institution has developed over time into a modern center for special education, which covers today's needs in the special and social pedagogical field with a diverse range of services. Around 240 people work in the areas of special school, housing, therapy, services, and administration.
The housing area offers children and adolescents, in cooperation with the parents, socially pedagogically qualified support in four residential groups and a parent-child program.
In the Känguru residential group, relationships, reliability, and individual support are at the center of our work. Are you interested in contributing to the life design of young people and their families? Would you like to take co-responsibility and help shape the role as deputy team leader? Do you want to become a piece of the puzzle of our long-standing team? Then we look forward to welcoming you.
For our residential group team "Känguru" in Kriegstetten, we are looking for a deputy team leader, 80%, starting 01.05.2026 or by arrangement:
Deputy Team Leader, 80%
Actively shape...
- Meaningful work: You actively shape the everyday life of children and adolescents and give them support, orientation, and new impulses. You support children and adolescents individually in their development and work closely with their family system.
- Team spirit: You work interdisciplinarily, networked, and on equal footing – with colleagues, families, and specialist agencies.
- Responsibility & scope for design: In the role of deputy team leader, you are responsible for departmental tasks, support the team leader as a professional sparring partner, and actively contribute to the further development of the residential group.
- Quality: You work according to various methodological approaches and strengthen the trust of young people – and their systems – through reliable relationships and cooperative processes so that they feel safe, can grow, and develop new perspectives.
- Variety & challenge: No day is like the other – and that is exactly what makes working with us so special.
Enrich us with...
- Expertise: You have a completed degree in social pedagogy (FH/HF) or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience: You know the challenges in working with burdened children and adolescents, as well as their systems.
- Sense of responsibility: You value responsibility, reliability, and mutual cooperation.
- Joy and commitment: You contribute your expertise, experience, and humor.
- Interdisciplinary collaboration: Exchanging ideas with others and seeking solutions is part of your working style.
- Flexibility: Shift work in the residential area is part of your routine. We support each other and sometimes cover for one another so that individual needs are not neglected.
- Teamwork: You engage with your colleagues and are willing to reflect on situations and constellations.
