The cantonal tax office, together with the municipal tax offices, collects taxes for the federal government, the canton, and the municipalities. We support private individuals and companies throughout the entire tax collection process. Around 800 qualified employees are committed to this at the location in Zurich Altstetten.
At the Zurich Cantonal Tax Office, large amounts of documents are processed daily. Behind every file is a process, and behind every routine is the quality that everyone relies on. Careful and reliable work is central to ensuring that all documents can be processed correctly, completely, and on time.
For our AVOR Scanning team, we are looking for a reliable person who enjoys working in a structured way and feels comfortable with recurring tasks. If you enjoy precise work and want to actively shape the digital transformation, you are exactly right with us.
Your tasks
- You prepare documents for scanning, scan them, and ensure correct post-processing and indexing.
- You process notifications and information in the area of withholding tax and reporting and carefully clarify discrepancies.
- You clarify technical questions with municipal tax offices.
- You handle incoming mail, manage the team mailbox, and provide telephone information on AVOR tasks.
- You actively contribute to process optimizations, support the onboarding of new employees, and occasionally work on projects or working groups.
Your profile
- You have completed commercial basic training and have experience in an administrative environment.
- You like to pitch in and have no problem handling files and file carts.
- You work carefully, reliably, and keep an overview even with routine tasks.
- You have good user knowledge of MS Office and a high IT affinity.
- Very good German skills, both spoken and written, complete your profile.
