Job Description
Based in Zurich and reporting to the Head of Pricing for Specialty Lines, you will contribute to initiatives that drive Pricing Excellence, with a strong focus on data analytics. In this role, you will gain deep exposure to global agricultural reinsurance practices, strengthen your expertise in advanced analytics, and build a strong professional network – laying the foundation for future career growth within SCOR and the broader industry.
Responsibilities
- This is a 12-month fixed-term contract starting in Q1 2026.
- Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of agricultural reinsurance and make a meaningful impact by combining the art and science of risk to help protect societies.

Qualifications
Required experience & competencies
Strong technical expertise
Proficient in statistical computing languages such as Python, with solid programming experience.
Hands-on experience applying machine learning models, ideally in actuarial or risk-related contexts.
Domain knowledge
- Experience in climatology and modelling of climate-related perils such as frost, hail or drought.
Communication and stakeholder engagement
- Clear and effective communicator, able to translate complex methods and analyses into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
Personal attributes
- Curious mindset, collaborative team player, and strong appetite for continuous learning and achievement in an international environment.
- Resilient under pressure, able to meet deadlines while maintaining a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
Legal/work eligibility
- Citizen of Switzerland or an EU country, or holder of a valid work permit.
Required Education
University degree with strong quantitative, climatological, and agro-economic expertise.
