YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:

1. Operational Finance:

• Ongoing accounting: comprehensive review, coding and posting of all business and inventory transactions (goods purchase and sale).
• Payment transactions & creditors: independent management of accounts payable and timely processing of weekly payment runs.
• Closing assurance: active support in the timely preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to Swiss Code of Obligations (OR).
• Payroll & HR administration: reliable management of payroll accounting (recording, payment, settlements with social insurance and authorities).
• Taxes & VAT: independent preparation of VAT returns and ensuring correct input tax deduction.

2. Finance Transformation:

• Building group structures: active participation in the design, harmonisation and establishment of future-oriented finance and controlling structures for the entire group (with subsidiaries in the Czech Republic, Germany, and China).
• Digitalisation & automation: identification of optimisation potentials and promotion of digital workflows in finance (e.g. paperless document processing, system integrations).
• Further development of financial management: contributing your own ideas to improve reporting routines, key figures and processes – directly in exchange with management.

WHAT YOU BRING:

• Commercial basic training complemented by targeted further education in finance (e.g. accounting clerk, finance and accounting specialist with a federal certificate or certified finance and controlling expert).
• Several years of practical experience in general and subsidiary accounting, ideally in a trading, industrial or fiduciary environment.
• Can-do mentality: reliable and precise in daily business, while curious, solution-oriented and motivated to help shape new processes.
• IT affinity: confident handling of common accounting/ERP software (e.g. Abacus, bexio, Sage etc.) as well as solid MS Office skills (especially Excel).
• Languages: very good German skills in spoken and written form; good English skills are a clear plus within the group development context.
