Your main tasks will be as follows:
- Carry out and promote mandates and research projects in public health;
- Participate in the activities of the department as well as those of the institution;
- Contribute to the missions of a cantonal Public Health Service (including the office of the cantonal physician) and collaborate in its activities, within the framework of a 6-month internship, particularly in the following areas: communicable diseases, health system organization, addictions, vulnerable populations, and environmental health.
- Acquire and master the theoretical and practical foundations of epidemiology, biostatistics, and the main methods of quantitative, qualitative, and mixed analysis;
- Deepen theoretical knowledge in epidemiology and research methodology in public health;
- Acquire the theoretical foundations required by the ISFM for obtaining the FMH title in prevention and public health;
- Understand the organization of the health system at local and national levels, as well as the role of the main actors;
- Develop the ability to conduct and promote, under supervision, mandates and research projects in public health;
- Actively contribute to the institutional missions of a Public Health Service.
Your assets:
- Holder of a Master's degree in medicine;
- The two years of "non-specific" activities required for the FMH in prevention and public health must be completed before starting the position;
- Experience in research or project management would be a plus;
- Very good knowledge of English and German is an asset;
- Organization, motivation, and collaborative spirit;
- Rigor, reliability, and autonomy.
