For the inpatient therapy team of the KZU in Bassersdorf, we are looking for a committed occupational therapist FH to strengthen our interdisciplinary team. We offer flexible working hours without weekend shifts, independent planning and implementation of therapies, as well as autonomous determination of treatment duration.

• Treatment of patients primarily from the fields of acute and transitional care, neurology, and geriatric rehabilitation
• Collaboration in a competent and motivated therapy team (occupational, physical, activation, art, and music therapy)
• Active participation in weekly internal training sessions and professional discussions within the occupational therapy team (six occupational therapists)
• Intensive interprofessional collaboration with the medical service and nursing staff
• Planning and conducting individual therapies as well as small group therapies if interested (e.g., garden therapy, baking/cooking group, memory training)
• Use of known and new technologies (Neurogym, Dividat Silverfit, etc.)
• Co-supervision in practical training or the possibility to complete training for this purpose

• Completed training as a Dipl. Occupational Therapist FH or foreign diploma as Dipl. Occupational Therapist FH with SRK recognition
• Strong interest in intraprofessional collaboration and motivation for close interprofessional cooperation
• Interest in assessment and progress monitoring with standardized assessments
• Enjoyment in working with geriatric patients
• Responsible, positive personality with high social competence

The KZU, with its two in-house daycares, operates two nursing centers in Bassersdorf and Embrach as well as three nursing apartments in Nuerensdorf and Winkel. It primarily offers a home to elderly, care-dependent people and, in addition to various specialized services, a wide range of outpatient services. The KZU employs around 600 staff, including 75 apprentices and students in 17 different professional groups.
