At Sika Manufacturing AG in Sarnen, we manufacture high-quality plastic membranes for roof, tunnel, and structural waterproofing. The process operator (m/f) plays a key role in the production process and, together with their team, is responsible for ensuring a high standard of quality and performance.

Job Description

After successful training, the process operator for cutting machines (m/f) is responsible for:

Setting up, operating, and monitoring the cutting and packaging machines
Professionally leading assigned personnel in the shift group
Exact implementation of order planning in terms of quantity, quality, and deadlines
Participation in production trials
Training and supervising new employees and apprentices
Careful documentation of product quality (SAP)
Performing maintenance and cleaning tasks

Qualifications

Willingness to work in a 3-shift system / readiness for 4-shift operation
Motivation to learn new things
Very good technical understanding and a flair for numbers
High reliability, flexibility, and resilience
Good social skills and ability to work in a team
Strong safety and environmental awareness
Very good German skills in spoken and written form (at least B2)
Professional experience in a manual environment
