Objective of the position:
The access and securing of salt deposits are of central importance to us. In this versatile and responsible role, you contribute to ensuring that our most important resources are still available tomorrow. Together with the head of resource security, you ensure that spatial planning and legal procedures are well-structured, efficient, and implemented in a timely manner.
What you can achieve with us
- 45 % – Management and implementation of approval procedures (strategic planning, land use planning, building permits, solar field planning, land security) for existing and future solar fields
- 25 % – Planning, organization, and execution of public information events related to resource security
- 10 % – Close collaboration with internal departments (geology, engineering, operations, communication) and external partners for successful project implementation
- 10 % – Stakeholder management: Maintaining trusting relationships with authorities, landowners, tenants, residents, and NGOs
- 10 % – Participation in strategic tasks such as the further development of the resource strategy, organization and evaluation of resource discussions, and management of lease areas in the canton of BL; additionally, you represent the department as a contact person for ecological sustainability in the solar fields
Your qualities as a professional and a person
- University degree (Master's or Diploma) in geology, spatial planning, geography, agronomy, environmental/civil engineering, or related fields
- At least 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in a similar environment
- Solid project management know-how (including tools & processes)
- Good understanding of Swiss spatial planning, geological, and environmental legal contexts
- Ideally, knowledge in brine mining, civil engineering, or related fields
- Diplomatic skills, structured working style, persuasive communication skills, and enjoyment in dealing with different stakeholders
