Officer in charge
Public Prosecutor's Office / 80-100% / Chur or Thusis
With its 70 employees, the Public Prosecutor's Office is an independent body in terms of function and substance within the criminal justice administration. It conducts criminal investigations against adults and minors in cases of crimes, offenses, and violations and must enforce the state's punitive claim. The main office of the Public Prosecutor's Office is located in Chur. It has branch offices in Davos, Ilanz, Roveredo, Samedan, and Thusis.
For the Public Prosecutor's Office, we are looking for an officer in charge starting April 1, 2026, or by agreement.
Tasks
- Cooperation in criminal investigations
- Drafting interrogation minutes and preparing memoranda and various decisions
- Handling criminal cases concerning violations according to the Swiss Code of Criminal Procedure under the direction of a public prosecutor
- Performing various secretarial tasks in close contact with different offices, services, and courts
What we expect from you
- Completed basic commercial training (business school or commercial apprenticeship) and several years of professional experience
- Excellent expression skills (written and oral) in German and preferably also in Italian
- Clean criminal record
- Autonomy, reliability, and speed as well as the ability to work in a team, discretion, flexibility, and a high ability to cope with stressful situations
- Familiarity with the most common IT tools
- Other language skills
