Job Description
We are looking for a competent and dedicated medical radiology technician specialized in nuclear medicine to join our team in Genolier, Switzerland. As a key member of our nuclear medicine department, you will play a crucial role in performing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures and ensuring high-quality patient care.
- Diagnosis: use advanced nuclear imaging equipment, including our OMNI Legend PET and Starguide SPECT • Execute hybrid imaging protocols with and without contrast agents • Ensure proper positioning and comfort of patients during procedures
- Monitor patients to detect any adverse reactions • Keep accurate records of procedures and patient information
- Therapy (RIVE): participate in the launch of the clinic's theranostic unit, currently under construction • Care for patients treated with 177Lu
- Laboratory: prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic imaging procedures and treatments (RIVE) in the future • Handle 99mTc, 82Rb, and 68Ga generators
- Collaborate with nuclear medicine physicians and foster team spirit in a dynamic project • Follow and participate in maintaining our quality assurance system • Comply with radioprotection protocols and regulations • Perform quality controls on equipment and maintain a harmonious and quality environment • Stay informed of the latest advances in nuclear medicine technology and procedures • Interest in welcoming, collaborating, and conducting technical and clinical research with our Swiss and international industrial and academic partners.
Qualifications
- Diploma as a Medical Radiology Technician • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in nuclear medicine • Mastery of nuclear medicine imaging equipment operation • In-depth knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals and their applications • Excellent understanding of safety protocols and radiological regulations
- Excellent patient care and positioning skills •
- Proficiency in nuclear medicine information systems PACS and RIS • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy • Great attention to detail and excellent analytical skills • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Basic communication skills in French; knowledge of English is an asset • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment • Commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated on advances in the field
