About the job
Do you want to deepen your expertise in market behavior and take on a key role in our supervisory activities? We are looking for an experienced individual to professionally lead and further develop the cross-sectional function (QSF) Market Integrity.
Main Tasks
- Professional Leadership: You lead the QSF Market Integrity, define supervisory standards, and are the primary contact person for internal supervisory areas and external stakeholders.
- Risk Analysis: You develop risk classifications for supervised entities and, in close collaboration with the supervisory teams, determine the audit strategy.
- Audit Activities: In this interesting and varied role, you gain in-depth insights into stock exchange trading and behavioral supervision of supervised entities. You plan and lead on-site inspections focusing on market behavior at UBS, other banks, as well as exchanges and asset managers.
- Enforcement Clarifications: In cases of suspected market manipulation or insider trading, you conduct preliminary market supervisory clarifications and continuously gain supervisory-relevant insights.
Profile
- University degree (Economics, Law), ideally complemented by further training as an auditor or financial analyst.
- At least five years of professional experience in the financial sector, preferably in internal/external audit, compliance, or trading areas.
- Solid knowledge of financial markets, products, and trading mechanisms.
- Organizationally strong personality – confident in appearance even in demanding situations with supervised entities.
- Fluent in oral and written expression (German/English) – good French skills are an advantage.
