Company Description
The Official Youth Foundation (FOJ) aims to promote the psycho-social development of children, adolescents, and young people in difficulty, in collaboration with parents and partner institutions. Bound by a service contract with the State of Geneva, the FOJ is committed to the protection and defense of the interests of the child.
To fulfill its mission, the institution manages more than 47 structures spread across the Canton of Geneva and has more than 500 places for minors and young adults and offers outpatient educational services at home. The FOJ is composed of 670 employees.
To successfully carry out its mission, the FOJ is looking for a certified educator for its Villa Rigaud home, a medium and long-term boarding school that welcomes adolescents aged 12 to 18.
Job Description
Motivation to work with adolescents within the framework of a defined institutional project, as part of an educational team of 7 people.
Ability to position oneself in front of minors presenting difficulties in emotional regulation and other particularities in psycho-affective development.
Support for parenting.
Close collaboration with placement services and families.
Irregular working hours, including night and weekend work.
Start date: December 15, 2025, or to be agreed upon
Activity rate: 80%
Contract type: Permanent contract (CDI)
Class: 13 or 15 according to the salary scale of the State of Geneva.

Qualifications
- - Bachelor profile in social work - University of Applied Sciences of Social Work (HETS)
- Certified Social Educator profile - Higher School (ES)
- University Bachelor profile - FAPSE License with one year of full-time professional practice in boarding or IGE
- Foreign diplomas: SEFRI recognition or equivalent
- CAS PF an asset
- Previous experience in the field, an asset
- Excellent knowledge of child development
- Motivated to support adolescents and their parents in complex situations
- Flexible and able to adapt quickly to diverse populations
- Autonomy, team spirit, and initiative
- Good knowledge of the Geneva social network
- Good writing skills in French.

Be Swiss nationality or hold a valid work permit.
Have a driving license (B)
