About the job

• Review and processing of international customer orders in coordination with the Area Sales Manager

• Deadline and order monitoring for orders, demo, loan devices, and spare parts

• Planning and coordination of worldwide shipping processes

• Preparation of all relevant export, shipping, and customs documents including trade compliance checks

• Obtaining transport quotes and communication with international freight forwarding partners

• Selection of suitable shipping methods in coordination with sales and partners

• Processing of letters of credit as well as business-relevant payment and delivery terms

• Maintenance of relevant master data in the ERP and export software system

• Determination of customs tariff numbers (HS codes)

• Participation in process optimizations in order and transport management

• Completed commercial training or further education in foreign trade, international freight forwarding, or customs

• In-depth knowledge of customs and export law

• At least 3 years of professional experience in equivalent functions

• Solid knowledge in handling orders from order receipt to invoicing including export and

  customs matters

• Technical background is an advantage

• Experience in dealing with trade compliance

• Confident use of MS Office programs as well as solid knowledge of ERP and CRM systems and export applications

• Fluent German and English skills in spoken and written form are mandatory, additional language skills are an advantage
