Qualitest is looking for a Visual Perception Engineer for a project with one of its Clients who is a leader in the Virtual Reality space.

Responsibilities

• Design & conduct perceptual studies to assist internal research and developments of prototype hardware and software to critically examine image quality, behavior, and performance.
• Analyze experiment results and give feedback to direct feature development with cross functional business partners.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D in Computational Vision & Imaging, Color Science, Human Visual Perception or related field.
• Knowledge of perceptual evaluation, psychophysics, statistical data analysis and Computer Science & Engineering.
• Experience in designing, executing, and analyzing perceptual imaging and visual quality assessments.
• Experience with Mixed Reality devices in Imaging
• Deep care & understanding of final user experience from visual image quality standpoint.
• Experience in creating conclusive and concise reports to a wide range of audiences.

Job Mission:

• Design user studies (procedure, methodology) that will help understand the user perception of MR devices.
• Run these studies in a controlled lab environment with “experts” and naive users from the office.
• Analyze the data to formulate the conclusions.
