The Projects and Engineering department in Billing & Payments is responsible for the strategic development and implementation of digitalization, automation, and modernization of our services and solutions. As a central unit, we accompany projects from conception to successful implementation and drive innovative initiatives throughout the Billing & Payments environment. This includes topics such as Instant Payment, SIC, SWIFT, TWINT, Fraud Detection in payment transactions, eBill, and other pioneering technologies. In this role, you are responsible for agile projects and support portfolio management in planning, coordination, and prioritization. With organizational talent, strategic foresight, and a motivating manner, you contribute to successfully implementing our roadmap.
Your tasks
- Responsible for managing as well as planning, controlling, and implementing complex projects considering agile principles (SAFe)
- Close collaboration with Product Owners, Release Train Engineers (RTEs), and interdisciplinary teams
- Proactive identification and management of risks as well as development and implementation of measures to ensure project success
- Promoting transparent and open communication within agile teams, ARTs, and with relevant stakeholders
- Participating in agile planning processes such as PI Plannings, Iteration Plannings, and Backlog Refinements as well as managing dependencies between teams
- Monitoring progress using agile metrics, managing the budget, and ensuring compliance with time, cost, and quality requirements
- Organizing tests, approvals, and GoLive activities within agile release cycles as well as continuous reporting on project status (e.g., ART Syncs, EPIC status meetings)
- Ensuring cost control and budgeting of required resources within the framework of strategic investment goals
Your profile
- University degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable field; further training in project or portfolio management is an advantage
- Several years of experience in project and program management of technical implementation projects
- Experience with agile methods (e.g., SAFe) as well as cross-departmental collaboration and complex stakeholder management
- Analytical, strategic, and networked thinking
- Strong communication skills in German (spoken and written)
