Company Description
The Staff Unit for Digital Innovation (www.sdi.llv.li) is the central specialist office of the national administration for the adoption, implementation, and enforcement of European digital law acts. We coordinate their integration into the EEA Agreement and national law, take on selected enforcement tasks, and represent Liechtenstein in EFTA and EU committees. As a cross-sectional unit at the interface of state, law, and technology, we actively shape the conditions for digital innovations.
Job Description
You feel at home in the following areas of activity:
- Participation in the development of legal foundations as well as in the implementation and enforcement of EU digital law acts
- Researching and analyzing legal issues in the context of digital technologies and new EU regulations
- Advising internal and external partners on digital law questions
- Supporting projects and assisting with legal review and preparation in the area of digitalization and innovation
- Coordination and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Monitoring and analyzing current developments in digital law at the international level
Qualifications
You are particularly characterized by the following for this position:
- Completed law degree; initial professional experience is an advantage
- Interest in EU law and ideally knowledge of EEA law, administrative law, IT law, or related fields
- Affinity for digital topics and understanding of the legal challenges of new technologies
- Good analytical skills and methodical working
- Independent working and the ability to implement tasks efficiently and conscientiously
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written, as well as clear and target-group-appropriate communication
- Motivation for further development in a dynamic, technology-driven environment and enjoyment of collegial teamwork
- Completed law degree; initial professional experience is an advantage
