Secondary School Teacher mbA for French approx. 400%

The Kantonsschule Wiedikon is a larger Zurich secondary school with around 1300 students and 200 teachers. It offers four gymnasium profiles (classical languages, modern languages, arts, and PPP), a bilingual Matura program (German/English), and a specialized secondary school (FMS). Since the 2024/25 school year, the school has two locations: the historic buildings on the Bühlhügel in the Zurich-Wiedikon district and the urban location on Hohlstrasse near Hardbrücke. Starting in the fall semester 2025/26, positions as secondary school teachers mbA for French with an extent of approx. 400% are to be filled.

• You will teach French at our school with a workload of at least 70%
• You will promote the French language, literature, and culture
• You will be involved in the subject group as well as in school development and take on special school duties (class teacher, subject head, participation in commissions and working groups)

• Open, team-oriented, and motivated personality
• Enjoyment in contributing to a diverse and lively school life
• Completed university degree
• Teaching diploma for Matura schools, subject French (or teaching diploma examination imminent)
• Experience teaching at gymnasium level
